Academy players prepare for Remembrance Sunday

Academy Players Honor Remembrance Sunday

In the lead-up to Remembrance Sunday, Wolves Academy players paid tribute and learned about former players who served during the World Wars. The club’s under-12 team planted a tree at Compton Park as a memorial to Wolves players who fought in both the First and Second World Wars.

Natalie Deakin, head of education at Wolves Academy, stated:
“It's really important that we're looking after them as potential players, but also nice, super rounded people. That's really important to us and the boys have worked really hard on this project.”

Author's summary: Wolves Academy integrates historical remembrance into its youth program, combining education and respect through meaningful events tied to World War heritage.
