Born in 1987, British Richard Coleman began his motorsport career young as an apprentice engineer with Mitsubishi in the World Rally Championship (WRC). He later worked with Chevrolet in the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC), gaining hands-on technical experience in racing.
Coleman founded Bamboo Engineering, a notable team in WTCC, and contributed to various squads in Formula 3, Endurance, and GT Asia.
In 2014, he created Mayfield Sports Management, a Silverstone-based agency focused on sports management, marketing, and sponsorship. Under his leadership, MSM secured over $150 million in sponsorships across motorsports, football, and cycling.
