Trafford Street Among Winners of People's Postcode Lottery
Residents of Trafford were celebrating today after winning £1,000 each in the People's Postcode Lottery on Monday, November 3. The draw randomly selected the postcode M16 9LA, which covers several homes along Worthington Street in Old Trafford.
"The People's Postcode Lottery picks its lucky winners by drawing random postcodes in a daily draw to win £1,000."
Participants join the lottery by registering their postcode and paying £12.25 per month. Each ticket automatically enters all daily draws held throughout the month.
Funds raised through the lottery contribute significantly to charity efforts across the UK. At least 30 percent of every ticket sold goes to good causes. The lottery operates on behalf of 20 registered charities, each hosting its own draw once a month.
Since its launch, the People's Postcode Lottery has distributed more than £1.5 billion to organizations and community projects across the country, becoming one of the UK's most popular fundraising initiatives.
