A neighborhood in Brookmans Park, Hertfordshire, England, celebrated after their postal code won the Millionaire Street prize in the People's Postcode Lottery. The AL9 6PT code was the winning entry in the latest weekly draw, with a total prize of £1 million (approximately $1.3 million) split among seven local residents who participated through the lottery's monthly subscription.

Samesh Kumari's Special Dedication
Samesh Kumari, a retired owner of a fashion company, claimed one of the largest portions of the prize — £249,999 ($328,000). He owned three tickets, having subscribed to the lottery in memory of his late mother, Chanchal Kumari, just four months prior.
“I think mum would be really proud. I'm not sure I did, but she was right. I've only been playing for about four months. To have won so quickly is amazing. When I signed up, I was thinking about mum. This is extra special.”
Samesh expressed that this win was a meaningful tribute to his mother's memory.
