Antonio Brown has returned to the United States after being extradited from Dubai in connection with an attempted murder case. The former NFL star, known as a Super Bowl champion, was arrested about six months after an incident at an Adin Ross boxing event in Florida.
TMZ Sports obtained Brown's mug shot, showing him wearing a track jacket and a buzzed haircut.
The 37-year-old was moved back to the U.S. this week after authorities in the United Arab Emirates facilitated his return. Brown was reportedly in Dubai trying to avoid U.S. legal proceedings. Upon arrival, federal agents escorted him to the New York Metropolitan Area, where he was handed over to local police.
Brown is expected to be transported to South Florida, the location of the incident, and held at the Miami-Dade Department of Corrections. He faces one count of attempted second-degree murder with a deadly weapon.
