Edinburgh Trams to Commemorate Remembrance Day
Edinburgh Trams will honor Remembrance Sunday (9 November) and Armistice Day (11 November) to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in World War I, World War II, and recent conflicts.
Free Travel for Veterans and Service Members
On both days, veterans and active members of the Army, Navy, and Air Force can travel free by presenting military ID or wearing their uniform.
Supporting Remembrance Activities
- Members of Poppy Scotland will be at the Haymarket tram stop selling poppies.
- Poppies will be displayed in tram windows.
Moment of Silence
Where safety permits, tram services will pause at 11 a.m. for a two-minute silence to reflect on the sacrifices made.
