Edinburgh Trams will honor Remembrance Sunday (9 November) and Armistice Day (11 November) to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in World War I, World War II, and recent conflicts.
On both days, veterans and active members of the Army, Navy, and Air Force can travel free by presenting military ID or wearing their uniform.
Where safety permits, tram services will pause at 11 a.m. for a two-minute silence to reflect on the sacrifices made.
“Each year I am proud to show our support at Edinburgh Trams on both Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day. As a former veteran myself, and with colleagues who are former service men and women, we are passionate about paying tribute to all who have paid the ultimate price throughout the years while serving our country.”
— Lea Harrison, Managing Director, Edinburgh Trams
