TransLink will honor veterans and active military personnel this Remembrance Day by providing free transit on Tuesday, November 11. This gesture recognizes their service and sacrifice.
Eligible individuals may show their badge, military ID, Veteran’s Service Card, or wear their uniform to access free transit.
TransLink also acknowledges National Indigenous Veterans Day on Saturday, November 8, honoring Indigenous veterans' sacrifices and their role in global peace and security.
The Royal Canadian Legion will distribute poppies by donation at various transit hubs across Metro Vancouver.
Customers are encouraged to use transit to attend Remembrance Day ceremonies throughout the region.
