The Phoenix Suns have yet to see their full lineup healthy this season. Key players Dillon Brooks and Jalen Green have missed several games due to injuries.
Jalen Green suffered a hamstring injury before preseason and has not appeared in any regular-season games so far. Initially, he was set for re-evaluation after ten days, but there remains no definite timeline for his debut with the Suns.
"You can see him in games, how engaged he is and how much he wants to be out there. It's the same in practice," said Suns coach Jordan Ott. "He's been great the entire time. So he's getting it in here and there and that's really helped him as he's progressed here."
Dillon Brooks missed the recent game against the Utah Jazz due to a core muscle strain, marking his third consecutive game sidelined. Both Brooks and Green were acquired by the Suns in the Kevin Durant trade with the Houston Rockets.
Coach Ott mentioned the team has not had much opportunity for full 5-on-5 practice due to scheduling, but injured players have participated in film sessions and walkthroughs.
"It's continuing to evaluate them day-by-day. We haven't had a ton of 5-on-5 because of our schedule. Yesterday, the day in between, more just film and walk through. They've been able to partake in all of that," Ott said.
Ott added that despite the lack of game time, Green's ongoing involvement in practice should help speed up his in-game readiness once fully recovered.
The Phoenix Suns continue to monitor injuries to key players Brooks and Green, aiming to regain full strength while managing gradual recovery efforts.
