The Hong Kong Sixes 2025 tournament kicks off on November 7, featuring 12 teams competing in one of the fastest formats of cricket. All matches will take place at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground in Hong Kong.
India will be led by Dinesh Karthik, while veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin will miss the event due to injury. Teams from across the globe will participate, continuing the event’s legacy as an international showcase.
The Hong Kong Sixes originated in the 1990s to give local cricket fans a chance to watch international stars. It began as a six-player-a-side global event and quickly gained popularity for its fast pace and entertaining matches.
The Hong Kong Sixes ran from 1993–1997, returned between 2001 and 2012, briefly resurfaced in 2017, and was relaunched in 2024.
