Man United Teenager James Overy Earns Senior Australia Call-Up

Manchester United's promising young talent, 17-year-old right-back James Overy, has received his first call-up to the Australian senior national team. The Red Devils' academy continues to produce exciting prospects, and Overy is one of its brightest.

Beginning his career at Perth Glory, one of Australia's major clubs, Overy moved to England in 2024, joining Newton Abbot Spurs briefly before being signed by Manchester United the same year. Since arriving at Carrington, he has established himself as a highly-rated young full-back.

A source told the Daily Mail that the teenager has "one hell of a future ahead him."

This season, Overy has played for both Manchester United's Under-18 and Under-21 teams. His strong performances earned him a call-up from Australia’s head coach Tony Popovic for the November international fixtures.
