Since Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) returned to Emmerdale village after serving time in prison, few details about his incarceration had been revealed. That changed when Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill), Robert's prison husband, arrived in the village, disrupting the anticipated reunion with Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller).
