Robbie Williams pays homage to 90s TV show The Word with his new video for 'Pretty Face'

Robbie Williams has released a new video for his track Pretty Face, inspired by the iconic 1990s Channel 4 show The Word. The project pays tribute to the rebellious spirit of the era.

Directed by Charlie Lightening, the video features Williams performing in his trademark red tracksuit on a recreated set of the famous late-night show, capturing the energy and attitude that defined British pop culture.

“This is my ‘DeLorean Moment’ back to 1995. The Word was the late-night gateway to so many – Nirvana, Oasis, Happy Mondays… If BRITPOP is the album I would have made, then THIS would have been the TV show… now a (virtual) reality.”

Alongside the video release, Williams confirmed that his upcoming album BRITPOP, scheduled for February 2026, will be issued as a limited edition VHS. This nostalgic format choice reflects his connection to 90s aesthetics.

The Long 90’s Tour

To promote the album, Williams will embark on the Long 90’s Tour, performing in smaller venues across the UK. Fans who pre-order BRITPOP via his official store will gain early ticket access before general sales open on 28 November.
