Pakistan scored 378 runs in the first innings before getting all out on the second day of the Lahore test at Gaddafi Stadium.
At the end of day one, Pakistan were 313-5. Left-arm South African spinner Senuran Muthusamy grabbed six wickets.
Pakistan Captain Shan Masood won the toss and elected to bat at Gaddafi Stadium. Abdullah Shafique and Saud Shakeel failed to make an impact, scoring only 2 and 0 respectively, while star batter Babar Azam managed 23 before being dismissed.
The Test matches are part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 and will be followed by six white-ball matches between the two sides from 28 October to 8 November.
