Hayley Williams has launched the full 20-track physical edition of her third solo album, Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, marking a significant milestone in her independent career after two decades with Atlantic Records.
The physical album, available worldwide today, includes all 20 songs, featuring two tracks—“Good Ol’ Days” and “Showbiz”—available on a physical format for the first time. This release completes one of the most unique and interactive album rollouts in Williams’ career.
Originally released mid-2025, Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party debuted as 17 surprise singles rather than a traditional album. Fans engaged by creating their own track sequences and sharing them on a dedicated website, fulfilling Williams’ wish to let listeners shape the album’s narrative.
Weeks later, the songs were compiled into an 18-track digital album including “Parachute,” which has since surpassed 130 million streams.
The new 20-track physical edition represents the definitive version of the album and symbolizes the close of an era in Williams’ career, linked to a contract she signed as a teenager. After more than 20 years, Paramore and Williams became fully independent at the end of 2023.
“The arrival of the 20-song physical edition signals the final form of the record, and with it, the end of an era in Williams’ career tied to a contract she signed as a teenager.”
Author's summary: Hayley Williams completes her independent transition by releasing the full physical edition of her solo album, closing a 20-year chapter with Atlantic Records.
