L’ÉCOLE Middle East Exhibition: Poetry of Birds
L’ÉCOLE Middle East, School of Jewelry Arts, supported by Van Cleef & Arpels, will open the exhibition Poetry of Birds on November 6th, 2025, during Dubai Design Week.

Presented in partnership with Dubai Design District (d3), the exhibit will be publicly accessible until April 25th, 2026.
Thematic Focus and Highlights
Building on previous shows in Paris and Tokyo, the Dubai edition explores the relationship between 19th and 20th-century Western jewelry and Islamic arts, united by the theme of poetry.
- Featuring exceptional jewels, precious objects, and gouache drawings of birds from renowned jewelers such as Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, and Buccellati.
- Displaying selected Middle Eastern artworks, including loans from the Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization and Dubai Museums, showcasing carpets, ceramics, metalware, and miniatures.
- Introducing Emirati artist Faisal Al Rais’s contemporary photography, highlighting the beauty and symbolism of birds from the Middle East and beyond.
