Kings and Canadiens Face Off with Streaks on the Line

The Los Angeles Kings aim to extend their road point streak to eight games as they continue their six-game series against the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday. The Kings recently won their third consecutive road game and improved their record on the road to 5-0-2 over the last seven games after a 3-2 victory against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday.

"Last year, we couldn't lose at home, didn't win a lot on the road," said Los Angeles coach Jim Hiller. "This year, it's just different. Sometimes, it's hard to explain. We wanted that one (at Pittsburgh). We were in and out for the first 40 minutes. I didn't think we gave them a lot."

Kevin Fiala's Key Contributions

Kevin Fiala both assisted a goal and scored the go-ahead goal with 8:08 remaining in Sunday's game, bringing his career point total to 500.

"It was an important win," Fiala said. "We started a little bit slow, got better and better, and in the third period, we took over. I felt really good, to be honest. Honestly, I came into the game and I just, like, had fun, you know? I tried to feel the puck again, make plays, don't overthink. Sometimes, slow the game down. It worked so it was great."

Team Leaders and Historic Milestones

Summary: The Los Angeles Kings continue their strong road performance with key contributions from Kevin Fiala and veteran Corey Perry, both leading the team in goals and chasing historic milestones.
