Aliquippa High School (record 10-4) fell behind Twin Valley with a score of 28-6 in the first half. However, the game turned around dramatically in the third quarter thanks to quarterback Marques Council's outstanding performance. Council led a strong comeback by Aliquippa, significantly narrowing the gap.
Despite Aliquippa's determined effort, Twin Valley managed to maintain their lead and ultimately secured victory to advance to the PIAA 4A championship game.
"Marques Council really turned things around for us in the second half," said Aliquippa’s coach. "We fought hard, but Twin Valley proved to be just a bit stronger down the stretch."
