Selection of New Police Chief in Fox Crossing
The Village of Fox Crossing has chosen Capt. Tim Callan as its next police chief, succeeding Scott Blashka.
"I think he will do a great job here in Fox Crossing," Village Manager Jeff Sturgell said.
Capt. Callan, the second in command of the police department, was selected from a pool of finalists that included Deputy Chief Shawn Engleman of the Caledonia Police Department and Deputy Chief Matthew Laha of the Fitchburg Police Department.
The selection was announced by Thomas Gritton, president of the Police and Fire Commission, in October.
