Galveston Nature-Based Solutions Workshop
The workshop, Coastal Futures: Exploring Nature-Based Solutions, featured international participants from the German-American Nature-Based Solutions Exchange, Texas A&M University at Galveston faculty and students, and members of the public.
Participants included representatives from various organizations, such as Martha Richeson, member of the Galveston Bay Area Master Naturalists and Native Plant Society of Texas, who discussed native prairie plants.
- Jens Figlus, Department of Ocean Engineering at Texas A&M University, spoke about seaweed dunes and coastal resiliency.
Co-hosted by Texas Sea Grant and European Post‐Carbon Cities of Tomorrow, the two-day workshop took place on the Texas A&M University at Galveston campus.
