Nebraska Group Launches Petition for Electoral Reform Amendments
Advocates for All Nebraskans has initiated a signature-gathering campaign for two constitutional amendment petitions aimed at transforming the state's electoral process.
The petitions propose a Winner-Take-All system for presidential electors and mandate hand-counted ballots for all elections. Organizer Eric Underwood stated:
This effort is homegrown, nonpartisan and simply for all Nebraskans.
The movement is backed by over 40 co-sponsors, marking a historic level of support for such petitions in Nebraska.
