Unmanned Black Hawk Helicopter Unveiled
The United States has unveiled an unmanned version of the Black Hawk helicopter, the S-70UAS U-Hawk, at the Association of the United States Army's AUSA 2025 show.
Features and Specifications
The U-Hawk features a loading platform with hinged doors in the front of the fuselage and uses the Matrix control system for crewless flight.
- 25% increase in cargo volume due to the absence of a cockpit
- Up to 14 hours of flight time without refueling
- Range of approximately 3,000 kilometers

The U-Hawk can be used for various cargo transport and launch small drones, and was developed in just ten months.
