Footage of Suspected Stolen Mercedes During Police Pursuit
A suspected stolen Mercedes was caught on camera careening along a footpath after attempting to swerve a police stinger at speed.
Patrols had requested the driver to stop in Sturry Road, Canterbury, at around 10am, but the driver continued, hitting three other cars before officers lost sight of him.
Footage from the scene shows police using a stinger device to try and stop the speeding Mercedes along the A28 Island Road.
The vehicle attempts to swerve the trap but its offside rear tyre appears to be clipped.
The incident occurred outside the Hoplands housing development.
