Children Charged with Attempted Murder and Rape
Two children, ages 9 and 10, are facing serious charges including attempted murder and rape after a brutal attack on a 5-year-old girl in Cleveland, Ohio.
A 9-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl have been charged with attempted murder, rape, felonious assault, kidnapping, and strangulation, according to Cuyahoga County prosecutors.
Antavia Kennibrew, the victim’s mother, said she dropped her daughter off Sept. 13 at a family member’s home in Cleveland.
The 5-year-old girl was allegedly badly beaten by a group of kids outside after walking out the front door. The incident occurred last month.
The charges are a result of an investigation by prosecutors, who say the attack was brutal.
