A pre-pack deal with Boparan Private Office has secured 433 jobs at Roberts Bakery across two sites.
The private investment firm, owned by entrepreneur Ranjit Singh Boparan, created a new company, Roberts Bakery 1887 Ltd, in a deal made for an undisclosed fee.
The new company references the year the Cheshire-based business was founded.
The deal comes after Frank Roberts & Son Ltd filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators just over a week prior.
