The September inflation rate decline was the biggest fall in the last six months, based on NBS data from April 2025. On a month-on-month basis, the headline inflation rate stood at 0.72%, reflecting a moderation in price increases across key sectors.

This shows that the Headline inflation rate (year-on-year basis) decreased in September 2025 compared to the same month in the preceding year.

The rate of increase in the average price level was lower in September 2025 than in August 2025, indicating a moderation in inflation.
