A Madison Township man, Glenn McIntosh, has been charged with murder after a 5-month-old infant in his care died from injuries.
Authorities say medics were called to the 4000 block of Willard Brook Road after reports of an infant having trouble breathing. The baby, Ameira Reynolds, was found limp and was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
"Upon further observation, the baby was limp," a prosecutor said in court. "[The mother] took the baby to the hospital, was frantically texting the defendant, trying to figure out what happened to her child. He was not responding."
A bond of $2M has been set for Glenn McIntosh. The investigation found that the injuries were inconsistent with the explanation initially provided.
