Coast Guard and National Guard crews have rescued 51 people from Alaska floods caused by the remnants of Typhoon Halong.
Roughly 90 members of Alaska Army and Air National Guard and Coast Guard units have responded to remote towns where homes have been destroyed.
The storm has left a trail of devastation through several coastal villages whose populations are mostly Alaskan natives.
