Two men were killed in execution-style shootings early Saturday near Pennypack Park in the Holmesburg section of Philadelphia, police said.
Police responded to reports of gunfire at Enfield and Solly Avenues at 4:12 a.m. and found two men with no vital signs. The Philadelphia Fire Department Medic Unit pronounced the two men dead at 4:22 a.m.
The victims, ages 35 and 39, were shot in the head and had their hands zip-tied behind their backs, according to police.
A woman, who was near the men at the time of the shooting, heard two gunshots and was approached by a man who pointed a firearm at her and asked for a bag.
