Investigations into Multiple Assaults in Carlow and Kilkenny
At least four separate assaults across Carlow and Kilkenny are under investigation by Gardaí.
These incidents were reported between the 9th and 13th of this month to gardaí in both counties.
- Three assaults occurred in Kilkenny city:
- One on Monday night at approximately 11:30 on Barrack Street
- Two on Saturday, the 11th of October:
- 1:50am on John Street
- 10pm in Irishtown
- One assault happened in Carlow on Thursday, the 9th of October, at Burrin Manor, which required hospitalization.
In the Kilkenny incidents, head or facial injuries were sustained, but hospitalization was not required.
