Trump Invites Greece and Cyprus to Gaza Peace Summit
U.S. President Donald Trump has formally invited Greece and Cyprus to a Gaza peace summit in Egypt on October 13.
The invitations were extended to Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides to take part in the high-level summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
The conference is being organized amid heightened international concern over the worsening humanitarian crisis and ongoing conflict in Gaza, following a historic ceasefire deal.
The summit will be chaired by US President Donald Trump and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt, with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in attendance.
