Israeli Airstrikes in Lebanon
Despite a ceasefire, Israeli airstrikes killed 1 and injured 7 in Lebanon, according to Ya Libnan.
Lebanese President Aoun announced plans to increase the number of troops south of the Litani River to 10,000 by the end of 2025.
The Israeli army launched 12 airstrikes in southern and eastern Lebanon, targeting areas including Bnaafoul, Khirbet Dweir, and the Nabatieh district.
- Two Israeli attacks targeted the southern town of Bnaafoul in Sidon.
- An Israeli drone hit the town of Blida in the Marjayoun district.
- Airstrikes also targeted the districts of Sidon, Marjayoun, and Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon, as well as Baalbek in the east.
Lebanon will gradually increase the number of troops deployed south of the Litani River to 10,000 by the end of 2025.
