The Crown Prosecution Service has announced that three people, Khondaker Fuad Hasan, Liu Xu Hopkins, and Benjamin Hopkins, have been charged with human trafficking offences.
This follows an investigation by the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit into alleged organised human trafficking and money laundering offences at seven venues across England, including locations in Chippenham, Gloucester, Bury St Edmonds, Reading, Cheltenham, and Ely.

According to Andrew Eddy, Senior Crown Prosecutor, prosecutors have established sufficient evidence to charge the individuals and that it is in the public interest to pursue criminal proceedings.
