BYD Announces Recall Affecting Over 115,000 Vehicles
BYD has launched a vehicle recall covering more than 115,000 cars following a probe by China’s State Administration for Market Regulation due to 'component design issues'.
- 44,535 Tang-series vehicles produced between March 2015 and July 2017 are being recalled due to design flaws in specific components that could cause abnormal operation.
- 71,248 Yuan Pro electric cars built from February 2021 to August 2022 are being recalled over manufacturing issues linked to battery installation.
The recall is a result of China’s State Administration for Market Regulation probe.
