Director John Waters, often referred to as "The Prince of Puke," "The Anal Ambassador," or "The Pope of Trash," has built a reputation for his repugnant films.
His early works, known as the "Trash Trilogy," include "Multiple Maniacs," "Pink Flamingos," and "Female Trouble." Later, bigger-budget films like "Cry-Baby" and "Serial Mom" solidified his career.
Waters has developed a cult following for his films and eccentric persona. On October 22, he will provide live commentary on "Female Trouble" at The Vermont International Film Festival.
