President Donald Trump commuted the 7-year prison sentence of former U.S. Rep. George Santos on Friday.
Santos, a Republican from New York, was sentenced to 87 months in prison in April after pleading guilty to wire fraud and aggravated identity theft.
"Have a great life!"
He had appealed to the Trump administration to intervene, claiming the sentence was overly harsh and politically motivated.
