Johns Hopkins University has introduced its first battery-powered bus, marking the beginning of its transition to an all-electric fleet.

The new shuttle, a model XE40 built by New Flyer Industries, was unveiled behind Shriver Hall. The 40-foot-long vehicle features a pristine interior and a significant difference from traditional buses: it produces no exhaust fumes.
