2025 Atlanta Braves Player Review: Cal Quantrill
Cal Quantrill's experience with the Atlanta Braves was short and forgettable. He was the first player to wear a Braves uniform with a last name starting with "Q", which might be the highlight of his season.
Quantrill spent a few weeks with the Braves, attempting to fill a void in the starting rotation caused by injuries. However, his two-game stint was disastrous. Originally the eighth overall pick by the San Diego Padres in the 2016 draft, Quantrill debuted with the Padres in 2019 before being traded to Cleveland in 2020 as part of a nine-player deal.
He was later traded to the Colorado Rockies after the 2023 season and then joined the Miami Marlins as a free agent in the 2024-2025 off-season.
That might be the nicest thing you can say about his season.
