Cattle Market Trends in Moreton

Agents Boyd O'Brien Bartholomew yarded 565 head of cattle at the Moreton saleyards on Tuesday, October 21.

A smaller yarding of export cattle was reported, with cows selling to strong rates and heavy steers and ox selling to a slightly dearer market.

Notable sales include Santa cross vealer males from S P Podlich, which sold to 449.2c/kg, returning $814 a head, and Charbray cross vealer heifers from H D and M A Williams, which made 340.0c/kg, returning $1054.
