The Oklahoma City Thunder have started the 2025-26 NBA Regular Season with a 2-0 record, thanks to a second straight double-overtime win.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander set a career-high with 55 points, leading the Thunder to a 141-135 victory over the Indiana Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
“We all have the same mentality. Everybody has to be ready to play,”
said Ajay Mitchell, who scored an NBA-high 26 points, along with four assists, three rebounds, and one steal in 38 minutes.
Mitchell's performance was especially meaningful, as he noted:
“Today was my grandmother’s birthday”
