The Ironton Fighting Tigers football team and supporters protested in front of the Ironton School Board office on Friday morning.
They were denied a spot in the playoffs by the Ohio High School Athletic Association, as announced on Thursday.

According to senior Zayne Williams, a running back and linebacker, the team's playoff opportunity was taken away by individuals who haven't achieved their goals in life, affecting the team.
The team is still allowed to play their regular season games.
