Assassination Attempt on Ecuador's President with Poisoned Chocolate and Jam
Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa stated that last month was eventful for him, as he survived three alleged assassination attempts.
The latest attempt included gifts of jam and chocolate mixed with toxic chemicals, according to Noboa's statement during an interview with CNN's Fernando del Rincon.
"it is practically impossible for these substances to be together in these proportions unless they were deliberately added."
These claims come just weeks after another assassination attempt when crowds surrounded Noboa's car as he was traveling to an event in Canar province, hurling stones at it.
