Tesla's 'Mad Max' Mode Under Investigation
Tesla's automated driving mode, "Mad Max", is being investigated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) after social media users complained that vehicles using this mode were exceeding the speed limit.
The "Mad Max" mode, named after a dystopian character, was introduced through a firmware update earlier this month, along with another mode called "Sloth".
NHTSA is in contact with the manufacturer to gather additional information
This investigation is the latest in a series of federal probes into Elon Musk's company.
