Cyclone: Holidays Declared For Schools, Colleges For 3 Days
The collector, D.K. Balaji, has declared holidays for all educational institutions from October 27 to 29 due to the imminent cyclone Montha.
He directed officials to make arrangements to send students from social welfare hostels to their homes by the evening of October 26 to avoid any loss of life.
The collector reviewed the arrangements to face the cyclonic storm with senior officials at Machilipatnam on Saturday, citing expected heavy rains and gales.
