Kevin Damoa, founder of Glīd Technologies, identified a complex problem: moving containers from ships to freight trains.
Damoa's experience with freight transport began at 17 as a U.S. Army enlistee, loading tanks and vehicles onto railroads.
His background includes a 13-year stint with the U.S. Air Force National Guard and roles at SpaceX, Northrup Grumman, and Xos Trucks.
In 2022, while working at Serial 1, Damoa revisited the road-to-rail problem, leading to the creation of Glīd.
