Former Cwmbran High School Pupil Shortlisted for Cardiff Business Awards
A Cwmbran High School graduate, Finlay Aston, has been shortlisted for the Cardiff Business Awards as Young Business Person of the Year.
Finlay, 18, from Ty Canol, received an email last Thursday informing him of the nomination, and he is "still trying to process" the news.
After leaving school at 16, Finlay started a carpentry apprenticeship but later switched careers and moved into sales, joining Complete Business Solutions in Cardiff in 2024.
The company supplies businesses with various products, including stationery, uniforms, and furniture.
