A sequel to The Last Witch Hunter is in the works at Lionsgate, driven by "enduring enthusiasm" for the first film.
Despite the first film being critically panned and underperforming at the box office in 2015, the sequel is moving forward with a planned 2026 release date, titled The Last Witch Hunter 2: The Lion’s Oath.
"Ten year anniversary! A decade ago, this weekend, Kaulder was first introduced… this year you have resurrected him…"
Vin Diesel, who starred as immortal knight Kaulder, shared an update on the sequel's progress on Instagram, marking the 10-year anniversary of the first film.
