On a crisp fall day, the Villanova Stadium parking lot was filled with excitement as the 1985 Villanova football team reunited for its 40th anniversary.
The team was revived in 1985 after a five-year hiatus due to financial struggles at the major college level.
- The program's dissolution was a significant setback for Villanova football.
- However, thanks to Andy Talley and a group of dedicated individuals, the team was able to make a comeback.
“It makes me think back to the day we were graduating,” said Art Condodina, a former starting running back.
Condodina, now a managing director at the Odeon Capital Group, was joined by other former teammates, including quarterback Kurk Schulz.
