A total of 12 individuals have been federally charged with engaging in violence and civil disorder against law enforcement officers and property during immigration enforcement actions in Southern California.
According to a press release by the Department of Justice (DOJ), the charges include conspiracy to impede or injure a federal officer. Two Oxnard residents, Virginia Reyes and Isai Carrillo, are among those charged in connection with a July 10th federal raid at Glass House Farms in Camarillo.
Acting United States Attorney Bilal A. Essayli announced the charges in a press release.
No additional statements were made by the DOJ.
