Idaho Develops Process for Utility Companies to Submit Wildfire Mitigation Plans
The Idaho Public Utilities Commission has approved a process for state utility companies to submit wildfire mitigation plans, stemming from a new law that took effect recently.
The process was developed in conjunction with the Wildfire Standard of Care Act, created by Senate Bill 1183, which was passed by the Idaho Legislature earlier this year and went into effect on July 1.
