Power has been restored to thousands of Hydro One customers in Norfolk County, according to the company's online outage map.
The outage, which started at 9:40 a.m. on Friday, impacted over 26,000 customers. Hydro One crews worked to make repairs, restoring power in stages.
Some residents reported power being restored as early as 4:30 a.m., while others had power back on Friday night. The cause of the outage was an equipment failure, according to Hydro One.
By Saturday morning, the outage map was clear, indicating that power had been fully restored.
